How To Apply

Anyone wishing to apply for a cottage should contact the property manager by telephone or email. Further details and application forms will be supplied.

Once an application is received, it is kept on file until a vacancy arises. The trustees will then look at all applications and decide who they would like to interview.

Decisions are made primarily on the basis of need rather than chronologically in order of application.

An important part of the application process is that the applicant is expected to provide the names of two sponsors (often relatives). The main role of the sponsor is to help to maintain the resident’s ability to live independently and to arrange alternative accommodation if this becomes unsustainable.
